  1. Basic Features & Game Modes

Battle Royale

Heyday: Rise of Empires unveils an exciting Battle Royale Mode—a first for an RTS game—where players of all skill levels can dive into the action, testing their strategy and wits to be the last one standing. In this mode, participants are thrust into an ever-shrinking battlefield, where survival requires tactical decision-making, resource management, and combat skills. As the playable area decreases, players are forced into fierce battles, with each encounter becoming more intense than the last. The ultimate objective is to be the last one standing, defeating rivals and gathering valuable resources to claim supremacy in the competitive arena of Covenant.

Shrinking Battle Zone

  • The battlefield gradually shrinks, forcing players into smaller areas and ensuring that combat becomes increasingly intense as the match progresses.

Resource Scavenging

  • Players begin with limited resources and must quickly gather weapons, and items from the battlefield to strengthen their position and prepare for battle.

Free-For-All Combat

  • In this mode, it’s every player for themselves. There are no factions or alliances, and players must rely solely on their strategic combat skills to eliminate opponents.

  • 2-2 Combat: Players can temporarily team up with one another to fight against other pairs, but only one can win in the end.

  • 4-4 Combat: A larger temporary alliance where four players join forces, competing for victory, but ultimately only one player can emerge as the winner.

Randomized Loot Drops

  • Periodic loot drops provide players with powerful gear or bonuses, adding an unpredictable element to the gameplay and offering potential advantages to those who secure them.

Progression and Rewards

The last player standing in Battle Royale Mode receives high-value rewards such as Celis, rare gear, and exclusive Battle Royale achievements.

Players earn bonuses based on how long they survive in the match, with those reaching the top ranks earning additional rewards like Celis, Mystical Stones, and equipment upgrades.

Special Notes

  • Tactical Approach: The shrinking battlefield forces players to be adaptable, combining aggressive strategies with defensive positioning to stay alive.

  • Exclusive Event-Driven Mode: Battle Royale may be offered as a special event mode with its own unique rewards and leaderboards, encouraging participation from players looking for high-intensity, short-term gameplay.
